The Communication and Interior Design Manager

To lead a creative way of working the IKEA store needs a creative leader. The Communication and Interior Design Manager has the responsibility to secure the creative process and the overall visual impact in the entire IKEA store. Taking the complete ownership of store layout, interior design and store communication through the specialist skills of their team.

They actively support and develop their team, the co-operation with the Store Manager, Sales, Logistics and other departments by sharing know-how and together executing the business plans to reach set goals.



Interior Design Manager and Interior Design Co-Worker

An Interior Design Co-Worker in IKEA creates inspiring and functional solutions that contribute to a fun and exciting shopping experience and establish IKEA as the leading home furnishing retailer on the market. They are part of the Communication and Interior Design Team working alongside their creative colleagues in Visual Merchandising and Graphic Communication.

The Interior Design Manager leads and manages the Interior Design Team to create inspirational room settings, restaurant areas and many other parts of the store. The Interior Design Manager works under the guidance of the Communication and Interior Design Manager who sets out the vision for the Communication and Interior Design Team.



Visual Merchandising Manager and Visual Merchandising Co-Worker

A Visual Merchandiser Co-Worker in IKEA plans, presents, communicates and implements the range presentation solutions in a surprising and inspiring way for our visitors. They are part of the Communication and Interior Design Team working alongside their creative colleagues in Interior Design and Graphic Communication.

The Visual Merchandising Manager leads and manages the Visual Merchandising team to lead the way creatively. The Visual Merchandising Manager works under the guidance of the Communication and Interior Design Manager who sets out the vision for the Communication and Interior Design Team.



Graphic Communication Leader

The aim of graphic communication is to use design, layout, typography, words, symbols, and images to convery information, concepts and emotions. Graphic communication in the IKEA store is about using store communication to strengthen visual merchandising and interior design and support the IKEA brand.

The Graphic Communication Leader is a a strategic partner in the commercial process. They have the final responsibility to manage messages in the IKEA store and secure the IKEA visual and copy identity in all store communication. The Graphic Communication Leader works under the guidance of the Communication and Interior Design Manager who sets out the vision for the Communication and Interior Design Team.
