The Sales Co-worker

A sales co-worker in IKEA engages with the customer on the shop floor. They share their range knowledge and home furnishing expertise to create ideas and solutions with the customer.

They keep their department clean, tidy, priced and fully stocked, and ensure that the IKEA basic merchandising standards are in place at all times to give customers a positive shopping experience.

Shopkeeper

As a manager within Sales in IKEA, the Shopkeeper has the responsibility to optimise the IKEA shopping experience within their department to secure satisfied customers through their passion for the customer experience, motivating a team and our home furnishing range.

The Shopkeeper leads, manages and develops their department team, sharing their know-how and commercial expertise to grow sales and profitability. The Shopkeeper works under the guidance of the Sales Manager who sets out the vision for the Sales team.

Sales Manager

A Sales Manager in IKEA leads and inspires a team of department managers in continuously improving the shopping experience for customers across all channels and drives increased sales and profitability for their store.

They lead the commercial agenda working with Logistics, Communication and Interior design and other departments by sharing know-how and together executing the business plans to reach set goals.
